TPK9’s Mission

True Potential K9 was founded on the idea that every dog has its own unique potential that can be reached with care and guidance. It is our mission is to help dog owners achieve that potential.

We believe that the point of dog training is to live a good life with your dog. That looks different for each person and each dog; so our training is dynamic and highly tailored to the owner’s unique lifestyle, their goals and the dog itself. We work the dog, not the method.

Our Services

  • 6 Lesson Package

    $800 in home/off site

    $550 on site at facility

    Our private lesson package is our most versatile service. Five lessons tailored to meet you and your dog’s unique needs and goals. The first lesson will take place at the True Potential K9 training facility; after, lessons may change location depending on the client’s needs.

  • Quoted on a Case by Case Basis

    Some training goals and behavioral issues require more than five sessions. True Potential K9 can improve and resolve issues such as severe reactivity, separation anxiety, human aggression, dog aggression, inter pack fighting, running away/escaping. In some instances, a board and train is the best solution for the issue.

    Number of sessions or board and train weeks quoted on case by case basis.

  • 4 Week B&T - $3200

    6 Week BnT - $4800

    This service is tailored to those who want to get their puppies off on the right foot or enhance the training of their adult dogs. One of TPK9’s trainers will teach your puppy basic foundational skills and behaviors that ensure you and your dog live well together such as crate training, relaxing indoors, loose leash walking, basic commands, as well as teach games like fetch and tug and other enrichment activities. For adult dogs, our trainers will strengthen and proof the training they already have as well teach new behaviors according to the owner’s lifestyle and training goals. Bonus: TPK9’s Danielle has dogs, cats, sheep, and a rabbit so she can socialize your dog with these animals! TJ has dogs, cats, and snakes. Matt has three dogs of his own to socialize your dog with. Sally is a breeder and has many dogs on her property to socialize with.

  • 5 dog minimum, 10 dog maximum per class

    $375

    Group classes are a great way to train and work dogs around the distractions of a new place, people, and dogs.

  • $30 - 30 minute Walk/Visit

    $60 - 60 minute Walk/Visit

    An ideal offering for those who want to give their dogs some exercise, stimulation, and training while they are at work, our training and enrichment walks last 30 minutes or 60 minutes. A trainer will come to your home, play brain games such as hiding food, teach engagement games like fetch and tug, train fun tricks. They will let your dog out to potty or take your dog on a walk that involves lots of sniffing, stops to play, and body/brain confidence work.
