Sally

HEAD TRAINER AND FOUNDER

Sally has been involved with dogs her entire life. At 4 years old, Sally watched her grandfather’s dogs herd his cattle to the barn with just one word - “cow.” She knew right then that she had to work with dogs forever.

At 21 years old, Sally launched plunged in to the real word application of dog training. She began with Schutzhund (now IGP) and her own dog Bronco. This endeavor became fuel add to her all things dog training fire. It’s been 23 years since and she has volunteered for training several rescue organizations, helped form service dog charities, and left her day job to head up the obedience and behavior modification side of a dog training business.

Sally’s experience ranges from pet obedience to severe behavioral issues, running group classes and private lessons, to building dogs for sport and and competing with her own dogs. She has trained multiple service dogs for a wide range of tasks, been a part time narcotics k9 handler, and owns/operates a successful working dog breeding program called Altvater German Shepherds.

Nicole

trainer

Nicole began working with dogs through volunteer opportunities in rescue. Immediately realizing she had a passion for behavior cases; Particularly with German Shepherds and Malinois- but also a variety of almost every mix you can name. The weirder the dog the more fun! Through rehabbing rescue dogs, she found her passion for helping dogs and their owners bridge the gaps in knowledge and communication that kept them from reaching their potential. While she does work with a lot of aggression and pseudo-aggression, Nicole also loves to work with timid dogs that need confidence building. Nicole is also an AKC Canine Good Citizen evaluator.
